There are a number of ways that you can find out the identify of your spirit guides. First, the people in the spirit world communicate with us through thought. Mind to mind communication. Most of the time we have so much clutter in our heads that we don't pay attention to our intuition, which in most cases is our guides trying to get through to us. Mediation helps to calm the mind and place it in a state receptive to the messages from the spirit world. Messages may be convoyed as feelings, pictures, words, smells, tastes, or just plain knowing. All as thought registered within our mind. Your guides may communicate with you strongly while you are in the sleep state, since all the clutter is not the way. If you practice meditation regularly and learn to listen to the thoughts impressed in your mind by Spirit you also get a sense of the identity of your guides. A lot of the time all you are going to receive from Spirit are strong feelings. You may feel a warmth or heat around your physical body within the auric field. Or you may similarly feel psychic breezes or coolness when they are close. Sometimes particular guides present themselves though a particular odor such as tobacco or incense, etc. depending upon their background. Your own subjective experiences are the most important. Of course the big problem for the novice is how do I know that it is a genuine psychic experience and not my own mind making it up? There is a vast difference and generally you will be able to tell the difference. For example, psychic dreams are much more vivid and intense with the colors and feelings than regular dreams originating from your unconscious mind. A clairvoyant impression is generally much different from the regular thoughts in your mind. Trust your own experience, but ask for confirmation. Test Spirit. Another way to find out who your guides are is to consult a reliable medium. But again anyone could tell you that you had a Zulu warrior or Native American as a guide. they may be totally honest and accurate with what they are giving you, but the big thing is how do you prove it? If I brought through your Uncle from the spirit world and told you things about him that only you could recognize or maybe that you could not identify at the time of the message, but later verified to be true this would be evidence. Always look for evidence. If a guides comes through one medium or presents themselves to you, they will come through in a similar manner perhaps through other mediums who know nothing about what they are describing. I have brought through for people their guides by name who have given the exact same name, personality and description through other mediums previously. this is evidence, Always test Spirit. test Mediums and tell them absolutely nothing if you go for a reading. This protects you from fraud and delusion. Remember there is a fine line between genuine psychic experience and the imagination. that is why It is crucial to look for proof. Don't be gullible or deluded, Talk to your guides. Ask them to talk to you. Ask them to come close in your dreams and times of mediation. pray for Divine guidance and know that the angel world is not in some far off place, but is around and about you.
